May 2015

I’ve always been a man of few words… (That’s a pun, I lost my voice this weekend.)
Here some of my favourite shots from this month. If you were there, thanks for being a part of it. Everyone in my life rules, keep up the good work guys.

April 2015

With summer right around the corner, everyone’s getting ready for the madness to start. Hundreds of seasonal workers and thousands of tourists showing up to town. The Rip Curl Pro is next month, so that should be a great way to kick off the season. Not only will I be shooting the entire event but I’ll also be competing in the Men’s Am (wish me luck) along with being invited to the Pro Photo Showdown, which is a huge honor. Speaking of which I should probably start working on my slideshow. Dobis never ends.

Forgetful

I keep getting caught up in day-to-day events and adventures that I completely forget to update my blog. I promise I’ll be more organized for 2015, in the meantime enjoy these shots from the past week or so.

Fools Gold

April 1st, I woke up at 5:30am.
I made it to the summit of Vargus Cone at 6:20am, set up my camera then began to wait. I had brought my headphones, but decided to against it. I quite enjoyed listening to the birds singing and the waves crashing. Though all I was doing was staring into a dark landscape, I was content. First light had passed, and I hit start on my camera. As soon as the raise of light came over the mountains, I had no thoughts. I could only feel myself breathing. It was at that moment, I realized that this was the first time I had ever seen a sunrise.

January Camping, Again

Falling asleep to the sound of waves, and waking up to the sound of eagles.
