PhotoLyfe

“PhotoLyfe” is when Stab’s favourite photographers answer questions about themselves with their own images. It’s that old picture-tells-a-thousand-words chestnut but with more colour and pop. It’s a way to cut out all the bullshit. It’s like jacking into the main vein of those who supply  exquisite surf imagery every day.

Every time I check out those articles I can’t help but wonder which of my photos I would have chose. Would they be up to par? Would they even be relevant? Then I realized I have a blog, and I can do what ever I want. So here it is, My own PhotoLyfe Q&A.

1. Describe yourself.
2. Where are you from?

3. What got you into photography?

4. Where do you wish you were right now?

5. What inspires you?

6. Who’s your favourite person to photograph?

7. What makes the best photograph?

8. What’s your favourite weapon?

9. Describe your mood right now?

10. What else should we know about you?

Dipping the port underwater during a high performance maneuver is pretty risky, especially when you're not using a wide lens. Sometimes you blow shots, get pissed and keep swimming. But other times you get a neat one of @cohenscorner and it ends up on @surfline ! Even though every time I look at this shot I think about how sweet the next frame would have been, just leaves me wanting more.
