Practice

I haven’t had a chance to shoot much lately since I went on “vacation” for about a week and a half. Work has been really busy as well, the most lessons I’ve ever done this week. But I’m starting to remember that I need to make time for it, just like anything. Also, it’s tough to pick whether I want to surf or shoot during prime conditions. But most mornings my friends and I head out for a surf to start the day, if we were a team I guess you could call it practice. The other morning was no different, but this time I brought my camera for a morning Fogust surf before work.

Dipping the port underwater during a high performance maneuver is pretty risky, especially when you're not using a wide lens. Sometimes you blow shots, get pissed and keep swimming. But other times you get a neat one of @cohenscorner and it ends up on @surfline ! Even though every time I look at this shot I think about how sweet the next frame would have been, just leaves me wanting more.
