Surf Trip

If you’ve ever flipped through a surf magazine to find a photo from The pacific northwest, chances are it was at a secret beach only locals know about. It doesn’t break there consistently, but when it does it’s always a clean right handed point break. The other day Derek, Chance, Jesse, and I set out on a surf trip…

Knee deep mud, surrounded by think shrubbery, and constantly playing Marco Polo to find each other. Finally we made it to a nice cliff to scale down, human conveyor belting our boards and ourselves safely. We made it, and it was glorious. It wasn’t super huge wave, but the sun was out and we were the only people around.

The drive.
