5 Guys 6 Boards 1 Van

I’m not sure why Derek doesn’t have a roof rack yet, but we managed to save gas and the environment by carpooling to North Chestermans. I would of taken a photo of us piled in like a bobsled team, but I didn’t bring my wide angle lens.
The swell was actually awesome, but the high winds were making it super messy out there (Not good for photos). I figured I may as well join the boys in the battle, and leave the camera in the van. There’s always next time.

Dipping the port underwater during a high performance maneuver is pretty risky, especially when you're not using a wide lens. Sometimes you blow shots, get pissed and keep swimming. But other times you get a neat one of @cohenscorner and it ends up on @surfline ! Even though every time I look at this shot I think about how sweet the next frame would have been, just leaves me wanting more.
