Fish with Steve

The other night my neighbour Steve insisted I come over to film a guests talking parrot…

Turns out the parrot was kind of camera shy, I just ended up filming Steve cook the halibut that he and his charter crew had caught that day. This was my first time filming/editing (you gotta try new things right?) The lighting was low, and I didnt have a tripod with me but I like the way it turned out anyway. Enjoy!

WARNING: This video may make you hungry, please refrain from drooling on the screen.

Dipping the port underwater during a high performance maneuver is pretty risky, especially when you're not using a wide lens. Sometimes you blow shots, get pissed and keep swimming. But other times you get a neat one of @cohenscorner and it ends up on @surfline ! Even though every time I look at this shot I think about how sweet the next frame would have been, just leaves me wanting more.
