Late Night Jib

Last night the snow began to fall in Vancouver, the weather network projected 26cm overnight in the city. Myself, John, & Kirk took this opportunity to do some urban jibs around the neighborhood. We predicted (and were correct) that it would melt or rain the following day, and that night would be our only chance to do this (for now).
We were out till about 12:30 at night, totally worth it.

We started out at a park with a nice big field and a small hill, this trash bin became our new friend.

After that we went to the front of this government building with a small staircase and a rail. We work aimlessly on it, but in the end we were unable to get enough forward momentum to hit it. Even with 2 of us pulling the rider. So we settled for a small hand rail by the sidewalk. Thankfully with the help of an extension cord we were able to get more than enough speed to jib this one.

I decided I had to give it a try, even though I was strapped in with skate shoes at the time (taken by John).
