A few weeks ago Calvin Connor showed me an area he thought would make for a good photo. It was this jump spot past the “Kookamungas” on a goat trail that had been built in previous seasons. Over/through some trees with one that had its branches sawed off for optional taping. Today, we built that booter. Myself, Josh & Simon spent the majority of the day creating this beast I now call The Kook. I originally had no plans of hitting this thing today, I just wanted to build and save it for a proper pow day. But since there was a small patch of untouched on the left side of the landing (the rest was completely tracked out) we figured we not. Or that is until we had to persuade Josh to be our guinea pig. Time well spent, I’m extremely happy with the way it turned out. Next snowfall, this kook is going to be thriving.
